Prashant Kishor Demands Education Minister’s Resignation Over Systemic Paper Leaks
PATNA: Launching a direct offensive against the integrity of the country’s national examination system, Jan Suraaj Party founder Prashant Kishor demanded the immediate resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Speaking on behalf of his political platform, the former election strategist stated that the recurring crisis of question paper leaks has completely eroded public trust, transforming what should be a rare scandal into a routine reality across Bihar and the rest of the country. Kishor pointed out that the administrative failures have reached a point where the smooth execution of a leak-free exam—rather than a compromised one—has ironically become the actual news.
Compounding the crisis, Kishor drew sharp attention to recent alarming irregularities flagged by young aspirants in the Class 12 evaluation process. He highlighted shocking reports indicating that answer sheets and final mark allocations had been completely mixed up during processing, leaving thousands of student results distorted with absolutely no institutional accountability or transparency. Asserting that the Union Ministry can no longer remain silent or evade responsibility for directly jeopardizing the academic future and psychological well-being of millions of youths, Kishor maintained that Minister Pradhan’s step-down is an absolute and non-negotiable necessity.
