Massive Border Survey Launched in Rajasthan to Probe Illegal Structures and Funding
JAISALMER: Following high-level directives from Union Home Minister Amit Shah to enforce a strict “zero-tolerance” policy, district administrations along Rajasthan’s international frontier have launched a massive survey to scrutinize unauthorized constructions. The intensive security exercise, slated for completion by October, targets all suspicious structures within the strategic border belt to verify land ownership, evaluate heavy investments, and trace exact financial sources. To comprehensively assess potential security threats and detect illicit funding networks—including terror financing or foreign interference—local civilian administrations are actively collaborating with central and military intelligence units, including the Intelligence Bureau (IB), the Border Security Force (BSF), and Military Intelligence.
