Moradabad Police Arrest Live-In Partner After Woman Consumes Poison at Station
A tragic incident unfolded at the Mission Shakti Center within the Majhola Police Station in Moradabad, where a woman lost her life after consuming a toxic substance. According to Superintendent of Police (City) Kumar Ranvijay Singh, the woman arrived at the center in the afternoon, distressing officials with the claim that she had ingested poison. Law enforcement personnel and the center’s in-charge acted immediately, rushing her to a nearby medical facility for emergency treatment. Despite their swift efforts, she unfortunately succumbed during her treatment.
A subsequent police investigation revealed that the deceased had been in a long-term relationship with a married man named Prabhat Saxena, and the couple had been cohabitating in a rented accommodation in Naya Moradabad for the past five to six years. The duo had previously visited the police station following a domestic dispute, where they underwent formal counseling and mutually agreed to reconcile. However, the conflict reignited when Saxena abruptly abandoned her to return to his family. Distressed by the desertion, the woman returned to the station to take the extreme step, prompting the police to arrest Saxena as they initiate rigorous legal proceedings.
