Bimal Borah Expresses Gratitude After Induction into Assam Cabinet
Guwahati: Newly inducted Assam cabinet minister and BJP leader Bimal Borah expressed deep gratitude after taking oath, describing the opportunity as a significant responsibility and a moment of pride. Thanking Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma for reposing faith in him, Borah said the trust placed in him would motivate him to work diligently for the development of the state.
He also extended his appreciation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah for their leadership and guidance, acknowledging their role in strengthening governance and party structure. Borah further thanked senior BJP leader Sarbananda Sonowal, along with party functionaries including Nitin Nabin and Assam BJP president Dilip Saikia for their continued support.
Recognising the contribution of grassroots workers, Borah conveyed his gratitude to BJP cadres and supporters across the state, stating that their dedication has been instrumental in the party’s growth. He also thanked the people of Assam for their trust, assuring that he would strive to fulfill expectations through dedicated public service.
Emphasising the importance of his new role, Borah said he remains committed to addressing key issues, promoting development, and working in line with the government’s vision for progress in Assam.
