DK Shivakumar Backs Kharge Nomination, Vows Swift Governance Start
Bengaluru: Karnataka Chief Minister DK Shivakumar announced that Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge will file his nomination at 12:30 PM tomorrow, marking a key political development in the state. He added that senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will also be present during the filing, reflecting the party’s united stance and strong leadership presence. He noted that while four candidates have already been announced, the name of the fifth candidate will be revealed soon.

Emphasising accountability, he stated that the Congress government is committed to delivering on the promises made to the people under his leadership. He acknowledged that public expectations are high from the very first day and assured that his administration will focus on effective governance, transparency, and swift implementation of key initiatives.
