Chief Minister Rekha Gupta Lauds Wazirpur Industrial Upgrades at Stone-Laying Event
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta officially launched a major infrastructure overhaul in the DSIIDC Wazirpur Industrial Area by laying the foundation stone for extensive road and drain construction work in A-Block. Addressing a gathering of local business owners, workers, and residents during the ceremony, the Chief Minister emphasized her government’s unwavering commitment to transforming Delhi’s industrial hubs into world-class manufacturing zones. She highlighted that modernization projects like these are essential not only for boosting local businesses but also for providing a clean, safe, and highly efficient working environment for thousands of industrial workers.
The newly initiated project aims to address long-standing civic issues in the area, specifically focusing on building high-durability roads and installing robust, high-capacity drainage systems to prevent waterlogging during the monsoon season. During her address, Chief Minister Gupta assured the community that the Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (DSIIDC) has been directed to execute the construction on an expedited timeline with strict quality controls.
