At the Vivatech 2026 summit in Paris, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a strong pitch for French investments by highlighting India’s massive digital infrastructure and its commitment to equitable growth. He emphasized that India is successfully leveraging technology on a historic scale to drive financial inclusion, revolutionize education, expand telemedicine, and modernize agriculture.
The Prime Minister underscored that the true power of innovation lies in its accessibility, stating that technology can only drive genuine human progress when it is fully democratized. For India, he noted, artificial intelligence is built to be completely all-inclusive. Bolstering his case for foreign investors, PM Modi pointed out that India offers one of the most affordable data markets in the world alongside low-cost green energy, making it an ideal and sustainable hub for global tech partnerships.
